ABOUT STEPHANIE JANTZEN:Stéphanie Jantzen is an international award winning photographer with 14 years of professional experience. She graduated from the photography-advertising school The Creative Circus (Atlanta- USA in 1997 ) and her photographs have been published and exhibited in the US, France and India.Stéphanie has lived in Paris, New York and Mumbai."Stephanie's photography is unique because not only does she capture the outer beauty and light of the subjects she photographs, and also, she is able to connect and reflect their inner beauty and light. She photographs without putting the imprints of judgment but rather by leaving space for the authenticity of the subjects to shine forth in their environment".Stephanie finds her inspiration in the discovery of people and in the impermanence of traveling to new places. For Stephanie, photography is a tangible reflection of the experience of an ephemeral moment shared in the sincerity of the heart. She uses the camera as a mirror for beauty and light to be seen, beyond the appearances of the world.Stephanie has been working on a book untitled "Under One Same Sky". It is an exhibition and a book gathering the photographs of her trips and expressing the inherent unity and similarities in people's daily lives, despite the multiples apparent differences.. During her trips, she organises volunteering documentary projects with a humanitarian goal.

We go across our days with different moods, understandings and goals, yet walking on thesame earth, caressed by the same air, and reflecting in our eyes the same sky. In the mist of our differences, beyond all appearances, the traveler can feel a simple, sincerecloseness and similarity with the people.We are in India, Thailand, Peru, USA, France...The photographer discovers individuals, shelives, watches, listens and absorbs the rituals and intricacies of their daily life. By establishing a sincere acceptance, the photographer is able to share the true spontaneity of the people, their essence and openness. The expressions are captured naturally and without judgement.All the simplicity which binds humanity together could have been forgotten in the complexity of our daily lives, and these photographs convey this simplicity, our common bond..."
